Hey everyone, I’ve been struggling a bit with moving large folders from OneDrive to my PC. I recently tried downloading a folder that was over 15GB, and halfway through, the transfer just failed. It was super frustrating because I needed those files for a project, and I had to start all over. Does anyone have a reliable method to transfer big folders without running into errors or having to babysit the download the whole time?

I’ve noticed that even small adjustments in workflow can make a big difference in efficiency. For instance, organizing files by type or date before starting any major task helps me keep everything in order and reduces the chance of mistakes. It’s amazing how much time a little planning upfront can save later, especially when handling a mix of work and personal documents. Sometimes, the prep work is half the battle.

I ran into the same issue a while back when I needed to move a ton of work files for backup. What really helped me was using a more direct method rather than relying on the OneDrive web interface—it was much more stable. If you want a step-by-step approach, you can check out this guide on how to download files from onedrive to laptop . It made moving large folders way easier, and I didn’t lose any files mid-transfer. The whole process became almost automatic once I set it up.
