Because of your willingness to Stand Up For A Friendship supporting a new Walk With Sally Match through its first critical year, we were able to match Prakash and Danny on 7/19/2017.
Danny is 9 years old and lost his mom three years ago to breast cancer. His 25 year old sister adopted him, and they are very close. He wanted to join Walk With Sally because he wanted a male role model and someone to talk with about boy things. Prakash wanted to give back to a child that might be going through the unimaginable that he witnessed as an adult when both his mom and his sister battled cancer. Though his mom eventually passed of heart failure, his sister lost their her battle two years ago. He doesn’t want to leave a child that lost if he can help it. They both are enjoying Dodgers games, surf day and ice cream, and we can’t wait to hear what’s next for this Friendship.
