15 For 15 Challenge : Day 2/15 : Honor Your Loved One
Is there someone in your life who has fearlessly battled cancer? Too many of us are able to raise our hands and answer yes to that question. That’s why we want to honor them. Together, as a community, we are honoring the cancer warriors who have either beat the odds or are looking down upon us.
During our 15 For 15 Campaign, if you make a monthly donation of $15 or more, you can honor your loved one by having their name added to our mural in Downtown Manhattan Beach.
What’s The Mural All About?
This summer our team worked tirelessly to create a community mural to honor all of the cancer warriors in our lives. “It’s a way to bring back memories of those we have lost, and to honor those who have battled cancer,” said Walk With Sally Founder, Nick Arquette.
Our incredible community, including Founded 1912 and the City of Manhattan Beach, came together to help make this possible. Now, thanks to the generosity of our artist, Gilyon Brace-Wessel, we’re going to put one more round of cancer warrior names up for everyone to see and honor.
