What can be a joyous and exciting time for families, often means extra stress for families who are currently dealing with cancer. We try to make this financial burden a little easier on our Walk With Sally children by offering a scholarship for mentees who are headed off to college.
This year, we were able to offer our annual Fred’s Future – Young Leaders Scholarship to Patrick, a mentee in our program for over 5 years.
Throughout their time together Chris, Patrick’s mentor, wanted to make sure that Patrick was thinking about his dreams for the future. Here is some of what Chris has said about Patrick through the years…
