Because of your willingness to Stand Up For A Friendship and support a new Walk With Sally Match in its first critical year, we were able to match Ryan and Hunter on 8/24/17.
Meet Ryan & Hunter
Hunter is 7 years old. He and his twin sister, Abby, lost their mom to cancer when they were 4. Hunter is a ball of energy and, like his sister, still does not quite understand why his mom had to go away.
Ryan experienced the same tragedy when he lost his mom at 17 to lung cancer. This was especially tough as he was closest to his mom and, at the time, considered her his only confidant. He wanted a way to give back to a child just like himself and found Walk With Sally.
Since their match Ryan and Hunter have been playing catch with the football and learning Ryan’s special Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich technique. We are so excited to see where these two go next!
Because you stood up in honor of Leah Delancey Chang, you are now forever a part of Ryan and Hunter’s journey.
