Because of YOUR willingness to Stand Up For a Friendship to support a new Walk With Sally match through it’s first critical year, we were able to match Brittany & Barbra on September 21, 2017.
Brittany & Barbra
Barbra is 17 years old and coping with the loss of her incredibly strong mother, Fay, who passed from breast cancer November 9, 2017. Barbra is an avid ice-skater and enjoys spending time at the beach, but has some insecurities as she enters her last year of highschool and looks to apply to college.
Brittany wishes she had someone to offer her guidance when her mom passed from breast cancer. She was only 10 years old. So, when Barbra called at 2am call to tell Brittany her mom was gone, Brittany drove over to meet her first thing in the morning. Because of their bond, Brittany says he will be there for Barbra for many more calls to come!
