Because of YOUR willingness to Stand Up For a Friendship to support a new Walk With Sally match through it’s first critical year, we were able to match Devesa & Madison on February 22, 2018.
Devesa & Madie
Madie lost her father to a rare form of lung cancer in September. She’s 11 years old. While she normally has a lively personality and loves dance, she has had a hard time shaking the overwhelming feeling of sadness.
Devesa understands this sadness all too well as she lost her father to pancreatic cancer in 2015. While she knows the emotional toll and void that comes from loss, she looks forward to helping Madie navigate and cope with her grief. Since Devesa is also a lover of culture and dance these two had a wonderful time at the Peter Pan interactive theater performance that was part of a recent Walk With Sally bonus activity! We can’t wait to see these two thrive!
