Creating Young Leaders Through Fred’s Future Young Leaders Scholarship

Walk With Sally’s mission is to provide support to children whose parents or siblings have cancer. Through our mentoring program we hope to provide these children with the immediate support they need when dealing with the trauma that cancer can often cause. As these children grow into young adults, it is our hope that through our programs, WWS can instill a sense of leadership and community engagement. Through our Fred’s Future Young Leaders Scholarship, we aim to provide these young adults with the opportunity to thrive as leaders in their community by giving them financial assistance to continue their education.

AdventurePlex Friendship Activity

Have you ever overcome an obstacle?  Well, that was the theme for our second Friendship Activity of 2019 where we invited all of our mentors, mentees and families to join us for a day of tackling challenges from rock-climbing, ropes course, indoor adventure room, inflatable race course, and pickup basketball just to name a few.  For a full recap of our adventurous day, check out this blog post!

White Light White Night – July 20th

Our annual fundraiser to support our free services throughout the year is almost here!  Your favorite summer event features more than 25 amazing restaurants, a live and silent auction, incredible cocktails from our friends at Tito’s Vodka, Insta-worthy art activations and SO MUCH MORE!  If you haven’t already, grab your ticket before we are all sold out!  We can’t wait to see you for our final year on the rooftop!
