Thanks to you, 130 families are not alone on their cancer journey.  On behalf of them, thank you for providing hope and mentorship to children experiencing trauma through a parent, guardian, or sibling’s cancer journey.

We recently helped Connie’s family. Connie suffered a stroke due to complications of her cancer treatment. Her parents have been taking care of her children due to her long hospital stay. Not only are our mentors ensuring care and fun for Phillip and Neveah, our Temporary Family Support program is also providing financial assistance for their urgent basic needs. The family was also adopted by a donor for our Hope for the Holidays program, and we are happy to know they will have some cheer on Christmas day despite their struggles.

Did you know two-thirds of those requesting our services are living below the poverty line? As their needs have evolved, so have our services.  This year our mission impacted more children in need than we anticipated. The demand for mentors has increased to 26 kids on the waiting list. Meanwhile, we have the same number of mentors priced out of our region of Southern California.

Every day, your support makes stories like the Martinez family possible. Would you be willing to make a special year-end donation of $50, $100, or whatever you can afford to help us meet our goal and bring children and adults together to heal from the shared trauma of a loved one’s cancer journey?

We simply can’t do it without you.  Your support will make a real, lasting impact in the lives of those who are still in need.

Thank you for your continued support and friendship. Happy Holidays!!

With gratitude,
